M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank is adding to its mobile banking capabilities by launching an iPhone application for retail banking customers. The M&I Mobile iPhone application is available for free downloading in the Apple App Store. Through the application, a customer can check balances, pay bills, view unpaid e-bill information, transfer funds, e-mail a banker and locate an M&I Bank location or ATM.

The iPhone app is rolling out slightly more than one year after Milwaukee-based M&I launched M&I Mobile, which was the bank’s first mobile service that gave customers access to their accounts via cell phones.

M&I, which has assets of $58.5 billion, is the largest bank with headquarters in Wisconsin.
